Work: Central Park Place Interior Renovations
The residential tower of Central Park Place is an upscale 57-story residential building. The project entailed a residential interior design renovation plan for all common spaces of the building including three (3) prototypical residential corridors, the lobby, and the 'Olmstead Room' a 2,500 SF indoor / outdoor flexible community space.
The renovation of the Lobby consisted of the selection of all new furniture and custom upholstery, new decorative lighting and lobby chandelier, drapery, wall paneling, and a commissioned piece of original large-scale multimedia artwork for the Lobby by artist Andrea Löfke.
The interior design work in the Olmstead Room consisted of the selection of all new furniture and upholstery for a multi-purpose indoor / outdoor community room, it also included six (6) pieces of original artwork by artist Teresa Cole. This room had a variety of uses such as lounge, private parties, workspace, meeting hall, and annual condo events requiring the furniture to be flexible to accommodate the range of uses. New window treatment was custom designed with artwork (Jessica Jamroz) screening the interior and exterior with a 'Park Forest' custom motif reminiscent of the nearby Central Park. The same custom repeat was also turned into commercial grade vinyl wall covering and installed on focal walls in the corridors. This custom motif was used to unify building common spaces and residential corridors together.
