Work: World Trade Center: Renovation
Views of the proposed $250 Million gut restoration and adaption of the historic World Trade Center 33-story tower into a 400-room hotel, 125-unit residence, and 30,000 SF office mixed-use tower. The exterior shell renovations included restructuring and opening the porosity of the shell to allow more natural light into the building.
The three (3) new typical floor plans of the tower are programmed as Office (30,000 SF), Hotel (400 rooms), Residential (125 units). Interiors of the World Trade Center have been completely gutted in order to offer maximum efficiency to the footprint and updated MEP / Fire safety systems. Atypical floorplans include restaurant at the top at the trade; fitness / spa for hotel and residents (15,000 SF); and museum / retail floor plan (10,000 SF).
